ABOUT SIEAmb
Organized by the Postgraduate Program in Engineering and Management of Natural Resources at the Federal University of Campina Grande, SIEAmb - International Seminar on Environmental Studies is an academic event dedicated to the critical and proactive analysis of heterogeneous environmental issues, in order to provide the exchange of high-impact knowledge, bringing together innovative minds and leaders in discussions on the themes of Environmental Sciences and their multiple dimensions.
The seminar is a strategic space for Brazilian researchers and the international community, fostering discussions that are not only part of research, but also challenge established rules and enable the formulation of solutions. Thus, the aim is to increase interaction between the emerging generation of researchers in the program and the international scientific community, enabling the construction of collaborative networks.
The year 2025 marks the first year of the seminar, in a remote format, with the participation of researchers linked to Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, from Jiangsu province, China, UFPB and Unicamp

Dr. Fernando Joaquim Ferreira Maia
Vice-Coordinator of PPGCJ/UFPB, professor at CCJ and PPGCJ/UFPB, Visiting Professor at Liaoning University/China, member of the Dom Quixote Research Group/CNPq/UFPB/IFSP/UFRPE. PhD (2012) and Master's (2008) in Law from the Federal University of Pernambuco.

Dr. Ana Paula Basso
Professor at the CCJ and PPGCJ/UFPB, Visiting Professor at the University of Liaoning/China, member of the GPEDTRS/Cnpq/UFPB. She holds a PhD in "Doctorate of Research in European Tax Law - ALMA MATER STUDIORU Università di Bologna" and a PhD in "European Tax Law (Interuniversity) from the University of Castilla-La Mancha"

Dr. Hirdan Katarina M. Costa
Professor at PPGCJ/UFPB, member of the Dom Quixote Research Group/CNPq/UFPB. Post-Doctorate, Doctorate and Master's degree in Energy from the Graduate Program in Energy at the University of São Paulo (PPGE/USP). Master's degree in Energy and Natural Resources Law from the University of Oklahoma (OU), in the United States. Master's degree and Doctorate in Law (PUC/SP).

Niklas Werner Wines
Assistant Professor in the Department of International Studies at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China. PhD in Environment and Society from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), and was a FAPESP fellow at the Environmental Policy Group at Wageningen University, in the Netherlands.

Dou Yuehan
Dr. Yuehan Dou (窦月含) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Environmental Sciences. She holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, an internationally recognized institution in the fields of environment and ecology.
